This MK7 Golf R is back to make some more power. In this one we show you the difference on how much power can be had running Ethanol, in this case E40. We also switch from the Vortex Standard housing, to the Vortex XL housing and show you the difference in spool and power delivery.

For clarification, it's not just fuel. The ethanol allows more timing, that's where the power is coming from. I assume people know that and shouldn't.

Hi. I Live in brazil and use 100% ethanol in my projects, its amazing fuel. Sometimes I make a mix between ethanol and methanol 80/20 %. My car is a Polo 9n 2.0 With a ported 20v agu head . Gtx3576r 2.2bar 600whp

For the mk6 golf r I would leave a high flow muffler on the back and make the rest either just a high flow cat or straight pipe

Update to my previous comment. I just visited my home town's Esso in Kingston, NS (i havent been back in 16 months or so) and noticed that there was a "may contain up to 10% ethanol" where it didnt used to be one. I got curious and asked the owner and they verified it on the fuel delivery slip that 91 did indeed have ethanol included in it and the lines were upgraded to filter out water due to the ethanol content. I just took a sample of their 91 after filling my car and can confirm 8-10% ethanol in the 91 Octane my local Esso in the Annapolis Valley, I've never been so

Looks like that EQT Vortex XL is a great turbo for the street. I'm currently upgrading my fuel pump to a A2B LPFP an a PR MPI 925cc/ 1300 cc. How much power with all the fuel system add ons can you make on Sunoco 94 pump gas? Thanks for the great video.
