This is absolutely true. I’ve been using this scale and some of my favorite songs took me a matter of hours and days to learn

It’s funny how knowing a scale “shape” is just the tip of the iceberg if you know the intervals of it and the notes on the neck you can really just do so much more

I got my first guitar about last month ago and took about a week to find what to learn first. I came across Tyler Larson saying to practice scales. Every song I’ve heard just makes sense now. I just need to get faster

It’s true I just go around the neck finding all the different ways to play a pentatonic scale

I sat down to learn the solos to 'Blue Jean Blues' by ZZ Top and, after the second night, decided that if I learned the B minor pentatonic scale first, it would cut out a lot of time. So back to the basics.

There’s a lot of pentatonic action in the solo to La Grange by ZZ Top as well

I memorized all 5 patterns of Pentatonic Scales but my problem is I didn't know how to apply it to make a solo. In any kind of chords progression. 😔 Can you make a topic about it.

This is the most fundamental of guitar fundamentals. If you don’t know this, you’re missing a milestone

Also practice these on an acoustic, then jump to an electric guitar and do it. See how much quicker you are?

MINOR* pentatonic, don't forget the MINOR... We don't want people to sound like asian folk players with the major pentatonic lol
