Great video and a fantastic seed. Would love to see more seed exploration videos, with a focus on various categories of "best" seed. Nicely positioned/grouped structures, groupings of resources in interesting ways that allow certain types of construction to happen earlier than usual.

Best seed: icup

It has every biome except mistlands on one large island with a water channel going down the middle for fast travel, and it’s neighbouring the mistlands. Only gripe is having to island hop a small channel to fight bone mass. Other than that, every boss minus mistlands is accessible on the main penninsula.

My very first map that wasn't random I just put in Bulbasaur because who doesn't like bulbasaur. I was surprised that it's actually a pretty good map. Elder and trader are to the west of spawn not far. Bonemass Moder and Yag are all to the west of spawn on different islands. Not bad for just a random thing I put in for a map lol

Thank you for this seed it's my first playthrough and the first world I played I beat the first boss but couldn't find any tombs in my black forest so you gave me a great seed so I didn't give up on the game

Seed: A1 also has a 5 boss main island (really long, north-south), couple rivers you can swim, every biome, easy traders, even a maypole near spawn. You have to sail to get to the Queen boss. The update moved the trader to a different island, my trader is on the main island on the left leg near the tiny spur of swamp. Great map though.

You come across as a Viking who doesn't like sailing...
I love it. Honestly one of the best parts of the game, IMO.
And the Queen fight is instanced. You can't take tamed creatures in with you.

You should ABSOLUTELY keep trying to get the perfect seed... as someone with OCD (and should mention a new player) I've spent 4 full RL days playing, only to the next day start over for the most minuet reasons (wanting to get the perfect start frankly)... I understand that's not how the game works, or is meant to be played... but I've yet to play the same map 2 days in a row... a "perfect" map (agreed upon by valheim veterans) could possibly break that (simply because I don't know enough to argue that the map isn't perfect... until it doesn't "feel right")

Until then... day 5 will start anew, with this map =P
