I strongly agree that we all must exercise daily but not over do it due to excessive radical production. However we are all different as far as foods go. This depends upon our genetics, our ancestry backgrounds, any polymorphisms & allergies. What foods may work for him may not work for me or others. We all should be taking or naturally getting our vitamin D3 daily with enough magnesium in the correct forms together with enough vitamin K1 & K2 and its different menaquinone 4 & 7 “trans” forms and enough vitamin C, enough DHA & EPA via wild oily fish or well branded fish oils, enough extra virgin olive oil that’s cold pressed but taken only at room temperature because above it’s “smoke point “ when heated, the “cis” double bonds can flip over to become “trans” double or pi bonds which is also commonly known as a trans-fat!!! Enzyme we have can not break down trans fats which is why a “Twinkie” can last for over 10 years on the shelf because it’s loaded with trans fats and these trans fats will build up in us and gunk our arteries up and cause inflammation! We all also require all the B vitamins as well which Includes folate (vitamin B9) but not in the form of folic acid! And of course we all need enough vitamin B12 in the form of methyl cobalamin, hydroxy cobalamin and adenosine cobalamin. Never take the B12 form of cyano cobalamin because it’s very difficult to get to its target cells and I strongly recommend sublingual form of vitamin B12 because not everyone can deliver the B12 into the systemic bloodstream through the intestinal barrier due to a possible lack of a intrinsic factor protein that is required to transport the B12 in its correct form as a cobalamin. I mentioned that only the reduced form of vitamin B9 should be taken because some people have polymorphisms or genetic mistakes that do not allow the folic acid to get reduced to tetra methyl folate which is the appropriate form that’s completely bioavailable! Many people have variations of a MTHFR genes that allows the reduction of folic acid to tetramethyl folate which is the bioavailable form! This is extremely important because this allows for proper gene expressions throughout your metabolic pathways! Secondly in order for vitamin D3 to function properly, it requires both enough magnesium and Vitamin K2 to be present in enough concentrations. That is called truly “the fabulous three” for an optimal metabolism! More can be told but time & space will not allow.
