I'd like to share the method I used to create the fog blueprint. The blueprint is available at the following link. But I believe that understanding how it works is more helpful because it will allow you to create variations based on the needs of each project.

*This blueprint may be immediately copied and pasted into UE5.

The Depth Fade, in my view, is the node that does all the magic. With this node, we can give blending depth to your scene. This node is particularly useful for blending mesh intersections, water depth, dimming a region to black, pseudo-fog, and other things.
