Me personally, I see Nicole ever time I go out on Sixth Street. For Corin I agree, she's always there asking about a lost purse

ben is always getting a drink, nicole is always telling you the latest juicy news, corin is always looking for the purse owner, ellen is always talking to people saying “no way” and “oh really?”, billy is always buying the starlight knight newspaper, anby is always winding down and that’s all i can think of

The trust events change everytime you advance forward the ingame time. So like you might do a Corin one and a Ben one. Then a mission, look back at the map and now there’s Zhu Yuan and Qingyi. Once I got all the Cunning Hares on Sixth Street solely because in one of Nicole’s trust events she brings Anby along.

It’s hard sometimes cause characters can fill the same spot at a trust location so sometimes they just get blocked out by someone like Billy at the music store or newspaper

Our experience is so opposite. I have Anby and Billy at maxed rank from random events, I didnt even want them.

Like genuinely there are always so many character icons on my map screen that i lowkey thought it was common. Guess I'm just lucky.

Man ive been getting those meetings where dont have the agent so i basically just eavesdrop on them

There's things to trigger them showing up you just have to go to certain spots on the map

Simple Guide:

1st- sweep through the listings for each area (physical sweep for Inky on 6th street since they dont always give a notice)

2nd - once you have cleared the areas, double check to make sure new ones haven't spawned since they can sometimes block each other (reloading the area will remove completed ones and allow blocmed ones to spawn)

3rd - Always use your three IRL daily invites! This is important for initially boosting rep and helping unlock the other trust events characters have.

4th - Take advantage of your missions plus HIA club activities! They progress they day, which means more chances for trust events!

5th and last - take advantage of in-game daily rest and the sleep function! You can skip forward once per in-game from Morning->Day->Evening->Midnight, and at midnight you can use your bed or the sofa to go back to morning! This means you only do two activities per in-game calendar to get all 4 time slots per in-game day!

If you use all the above, you'll quickly find yourself hitting the trust event cap for random events per IRL day and making fast progress on getting everyone's background portraits! (Except Soldier 11- I still cant figure out how to trigger her final event even with Inky maxed out 😅)

Thats so weird... I CONSISTENTLY see Billy, Anby, and Nicole in 6th street. Also Anton in Lumina Square as well...

I all the characters almost all the time. I think their appearance rate is related to their trust rank

The fact that in Sixth Street, there's a lot of hidden trust even that only trigger after you interact with a specific place. Including Nicole's. The first time I know this is when I drink a coffee in Sixth Street and all of the sudden I activate Nicole's event. It's so much fun 😂😂

I have not had this problem with trust events during my time playing. I have had all my unlocked characters' trust events maxed weeks ago. What I noticed is that the game tends to spawn whichever characters are above the first threshold of trust more often than characters above the second threshold of trust when going for max. At max trust, characters are everywhere. To add, from my knowledge no one should be in Random Play unless its a trust milestone. I see almost all of them everyday, Corin and Ellen being all the time at Lumina square except for one interaction each where they are at sixth street, the cunning hares (including Nekomata but in the night) coming at sixth street everyday and Ben and Anton switching between the 2 places and the construction site.

s11 can be found in waterfall soup or behind the alley near the pipes EVERY MIDNIGHT.

For me nicole wont stop appearing as i leave the shop or leave any of the areas like coffee shop and the newsstand

Surprisingly Zhu Yuan was surprisingly easy to max out. And she doesn’t have a character episode either which makes it easier but kinda wish we had more story with her besides the main and special episode.
