The first 2 days.. the earth was formless a void. How can you have a day without the earth and sun?.. its not literal, pretty clear.

I think the bible and religion is nonsense but even I think the argument against the 7 days thing is silly. 24 hours is a day on earth. For a god a day would be whatever the hell it decides it is.

I am all for science but I am not dogmatic because we can’t be. We can lean one way based on evidence or believe God’s word. But I can promise you one thing. God’s word won’t change. The science will.
Why? Because the more we learn the more we realize we don’t know anything.

On the sixth day God saw all that he had made and it was very good. If the world was already four billion years old at this point, it means there was death in the world at the time God said it was very good. But the Bible says later that through one man, Adam, came death. Death could not have come before Adam... Therefore, according to the Bible, the earth couldn't be billions of years old.

Why would a god create all of this for basically one race irrespective of which god you follow. I just find it difficult to believe any of the religious bs because there are far too many stars in a the sky not only the stars but the planets revolving round them and then the galaxies we can see.
