Acid Reflux which causes the gastric juices to come up to the throat and cause a heart burn or a burning sensation in the chest is a very common feature today. One primary cause is poor adherence to ones day to day life. Even the basic sleep rhythm has been altered. Even may stay awake in the night one of the primary cause for that is where the compensation they take is not adequate and they are not able to take up ordinary functions. So obviously one has to follow the natural . One has to follow proper dietary rhythms and have good rhythms of day night . sleeping well at night is a major requirement one of the features that causes acidity. These are the features that causes refluxes. It can cause irritation of the throat. The spillage into the larynx can cause laryngitis can go to the trachea and cause.

i ate some spicy food before sleeping and i wasnt able to sleep the whole night. Acid refluxes are the most annoying thing that can happen to someone. Not only do you feel nausea and feeling like vomiting, it also makes you dehydrated. Im never eating spicy food for dinner ever again.

This has happened ever since I got a nasty cold and had no appetite. I ended up losing weight and having to force myself to want to eat anything. My appetite came back luckily, but now acid reflux has crept in and anytime I have tomatoes or anything acidic I feel like my stomach can't process it properly, my stomach will bloat and my throat will feel as if there is a cotton ball in it that I cannot get rid of. This is EXTREMELY annoying. I will have to avoid these irritating foods to get my stomach back.

Hello Dr.,

Since 3 weeks I have developed this throat irritation and throat burning several times a day. I have been taking OTC Acid blocker ( Omeprazole). It has improved somewhat but not cured all. I am looking for natural treatment either herbal or ayurvedic and want to get to root of this. Our food habits are good (vegetarian) and we do not take an y spices. Please advise if you have any remedies for curing this.

Its not like acid reflux. My throat starts burning immediately after taking a bite of food or sip of tea. It even burns after eating something sweet and after drinking milk. I wm suffering from it for last two weeks. Kindly tell me about it. What should I do?

one thing that is so true about age, as soon as I got to 38/39, yrs of age, I find my self needing to sleep at the same time and get up at a similar time or the day is just slow. And I have always done my "best" to treat my body well (and spoil it when I know I can). Ya, age is a thing. haha!!
