There is symbolism in everyone seated but the real boss is towering above them.

Mickey Palmice is so proud sitting next to Junior when he becomes boss.

This is a top 5 moment in the show easily

One person never shown on screen at all, yet hugely important, is Ercole "Eckley" DiMeo, the previous boss. He was not in The Sopranos or even in Many Saints. But was ultimately the boss over a long period, and was still alive in 2007.

20 odd years since this scene aired and it still sends shivers down my spine

If you are looking the beat > Xzibit-Paparazzi and the original is classic music which is Gabriel Faure-Pavane

I like the symbolism of Tony's picture being under. His Uncle Junior's photo as boss. Even though Junior is only boss in name only. Tony is the boss and even gives a hint by saying the only speech would be for his father Johnny Soprano.

the cut to Gandolfini's picture at 1:13 is so iconic.

Damn, I really miss that special feeling I got from watching this series for the very first time.

Well, some things in life you only get to experience once I guess.

Sigh…

Fast forward to the later yrs when it was just Bobby, Sil, and Paulie running things you knew it was just falling apart. Even though Phil was in the can it did turn into a glorified crew

This made the FBI look so powerful.

Then they can’t get a fuckin’ thing done the entire series!

Maybe hanging out with the criminals and eating food with them isn’t the best crime fighting technique! 🤣

Beat background music to an ending ever

Love this scene all the capos are either dead, served as FBI informants then died, or incarcerated. The only two survivors were Anthony and Junior.

0:10 that's the least discreet hidden camera in the universe

Just imagine, it’s Sunday evening February 14th, 1999, Valentine’s Day, and you watch this badass scene.

RIP Jackie, I get sad thinking about how everyone’s arc could have been drastically different if Jackie never got cancer and died the way he did

(Shrugs) With all due respect: All I'm sayin' is that Boss Borko compromised way more than Phil when Susan put him in the can for a while.
