This scene is really a great insight into Tony.

People here are talking about how Finn is trying to get power over Tony, which is why Tony has a tantrum. The truth is that he just wants to show his respect for Tony by paying for all of their meals. Tony (who pays for their meals in the past) is furious at this display and doesn't want anyone to "have power" over him.

When Finn pays, he does it as a sign of respect and appreciation. When Tony does it, he is trying to gain power over others.

Everyone who says "it's about respect", but Tony should be happy that someone dating his daughter respects her enough to pay for dinner. It is all about ego, even if it annoyed Tony he should respect his daughter enough to not make a scene. Some people have really weird views of the world. It also shows how far removed Tony is from the normal world, where a good gesture is seen as that. Not a passing contest, which is what Tony sees it as.
