2v and 3v mustangs are dirt cheap where I live, 8k tops for a mint condition one with less than 100k miles. Same with the C5s, well maintained C5s go for around 7-12k

One thing about Ford’s 4.6 is they sound awesome with the exhaust opened up.

I just got a 2007 Grand Cherokee with the 5.7L HEMI and straight pipped it. Couldn’t be more proud to be an American 🇺🇸

Nice to see the F-body Camaros and Firebirds make the list. I recently met a fellow at a car show who’d owned both and had nothing but high praise for them. I like the TransAm cars the most from that era, but as you said, they can be pricy.

I got a S-197 GT 4.6 for 1800 bucks because the transmission blew in 2016 and it sat for a while. I rebuilt the trans and fixed a few small things and have a GT for 3000 bucks all said and done

G8 GT's are selling for just a couple grand more than what I bought my V6 G8 for 3 years ago.. I could have waited but honestly I have no regrets because now Im very familiar with the platform and love the car and whenever this one is done for I can probably Pick up a GT for a good price

I bought a 05 s197 mustang for 3700 from fb marketplace with 194k miles on it about months ago. The only issue I have to resolve was replacing a brake line and the brake booster and everything else has been perfect 👌 the guy took very good care of it

Saw a 1988 vette, garage kept, red exterior on red interior, with ONLY 41k miles go for $3500 today.

It was only listed for 4 hours before it sold.

Crown Vics are ultra reliable. I would say the hands down my reliable American car. Now..finding wheelcovers for the P71 or MGM....you will pay.

I have an 04 Sport I bought new, but recently snagged a mint 08 Grand Marquis for 3k (was going to get it for 2k but mom agreed to quickly....oh well. Im just glad she loves driving it). It was rough looking, but after washing the door cards in the tub, finding the missing wheelcovers, and other minor things, now, its like brand new.

One thing, that Ive notice, is that the cheapest Panther is the Grand Marquis, then up is the Crown Vic, then the Town Car (not counting the livery cars, however, the ones that have 999k miles come with a premium for that rollover experience. Theyre not bad, and very clean just...been around lol). Then next up a VERY clean Crown Vic. Those can be 20k for mint low miles, or a 03-04 LX Sport. Then, at the top of the heap is the Marauder, though not that much more than the LX Sport, mostly because of the minor reliablity ding of the 4V compared to the 2V 4.6. But, not that big a deal really.

Also, Im buying a Trans Am this week. Stick shift, T tops, with a built 5.7, mild cam, long tube headers, and the two tone factory interior....for 500 bucks.

ALWAYS keep your eyes out for a car sitting in a driveway with dust, and dont be all gen Z antisocial. Knock on the door, smile, show excitement, and even if its not for sale, you made a new car friend!

I just bought a 2012 Mustang GT with the gen 1 coyote for 11k. Premium interior, manual transmission and a bunch of other goodies from the previous owner like a boss 302 front valence with splitter and a real carbon fiber dash and duckbill wing. Only real down side so far is 133k miles but you wouldn't think so looking at the car. I'm waiting for the engine to explode because I don't know why he let it go for so cheap.

Another good 1 is any 90s t-bird or cougar. They go for dirt cheap in decent condition even with the 4.6s or the earlier ones with the 5.0, they go for roughly $2k-6k.
However if you find a supercoupe for sale in good condition, they generally go for $10k-15k, 1 big downside is that certain parts are hard to obtain
