If you could own ONE, which one would you choose?

Not a single one of the vehicles shown in the condition shown can be had for $10000 or under. The ones shown are fully restored and also are of a higher trim level than a base model.

12 yrs ago I inherited my late uncle Joseph's car delivered to him at the factory March 7, 1972. It's still in near-mint cond, I feel blessed 😇🙏

The only 1964 Galaxie your going to find for less than $10k that's not a rust bucket is going to be a 4-door sedan with the base six cylinder engine.

My old man had a 1956 Packard back in the mid 60s. It was light blue and just like the one in your video. The coolest thing about it was the 'automatic' shocks. My brother and I would get in the car just to feel the back seat rise up all by itself. Ahead of it's time like the Studebaker.

In 71, I owned a 64 Olds Jet Star 1. It rode like a dream, had power out the wazoo, came with dual glass packs from the factory, bucket seats and an automatic on the center console, a large back seat, and a posi rearend made it go great in the snow. But at 70mph, it wasn't fond of curves and if you got it fishtailing, that big a$$ wanted to switch ends. And, it liked to be But all in all, it was and still is, one of my favorite car memories.

I'll take the 1964 Ford Galaxie anyday.

I turned 16 in 1971. My first car was a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL, black on black with a 427 cu in, T10 4 speed, 4:10.posi. I paid $1000 for it. Wish I still had it!

You couldn't be more absolutely WRONG about the usual selling price of a 64 Galaxie. Usually 18-24k.

The '64 Ford Galaxie and the '64 Chevy were pretty much same body style and were very well liked by everyone back in the day. I was 15 years-young in 1964 and I remember it well.

These prices are a joke a 66 mustang for $9500, a 64 galaxie for under 10 k—- maybe but it would be a rusted out roller

Mostly Hogwash here, prime example you will not find a 64 Ford Galaxy 427 dual quad 4 speed car for that kind of money even if it’s in sad condition. Nor the Corvair, Mercury Monterey, or anything else in the video unless it’s a worn out POS - The Cadillac example is one of those you don’t want because of all the engine problems they had. The Rambler maybe, but it’s not going to be a fully restored red convertible! The funniest thing is they show all showroom condition cars for under 10 grand, that’s only if grandma is selling and has no idea what she has and no one to let her know the value !!!!

Good luck finding a 64 Galaxie that is in decent condition. A rotted out Galaxie that need floor and trunk pans, new quarters and everything else yea, you can find one for under 10K.
IF one was very lucky, very lucky a person may find one that is super nice if the seller has no clue of what they have.

Hands down, the Rambler. That car would be so much fun cruising our Michigan coastal highways in July and August. If that car is in decent mechanical conditions, it would be worth the price to have something that fun and different.

Around 1970 I had a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL, 2 door hardtop, bucket seats, leather interior, 351 engine with automatic in the floor. It would run like a scalded dog. I loved that car, even though it only got 10 mpg, no matter how you drove it.

The Oldsmobile Jetstar got my attention! Beautiful in and out 345 hp will do 👍🏻

If I had to choose, I'd take the 'Vette, then the '64 Ford and lastly, the Mustang. Not much to choose from, but... I have to admit the Oldsmobile is pretty damn sharp!

The Reatta has long been my favorite for the 80’s, esp the 1989 convertible. Also love the 1965-69 Corvair.

My 1967 mustang looks as good as these models and mine is a survivor, I did hang on air, cheap radio, few chrome goodies. Love it, 6 cylinder and all.
