My 72 Nova, purchased new, with a 350, 2 barrel, and 3 speed on the floor, was rated at 165 horsepower. But I loved that little car. Have a big block, 5 speed, 71 Nova in the garage right now. Waiting on Power Tour

Paid $2400 for my Duster 12 years ago. Paid $5000 for my 70 Big Block Chevelle 30 years ago. They are worth a little more now.

Bought a ‘67 Mustang 289 v8 for 7 grand. I’ve welded and replaced floor pans… replaced about 70% of all parts. It’s a lot and it’s still a lot. Do I regret it? No. Do I wish I forked up an extra 5-10k to buy one in better shape? Yes.

Yes the Torino could be a muscle car
My friend had one with the 351 Cleveland and a Hurst top loader
Cammed and stroked with a large carb.
He would literally drive circles around some people

Had a 1950 Chevy coup, 12000miles till it blew. Up. Then my aunt gave me 1954 mercury. She got a new 1966Riverra merc lasted 2000miles surfing everyday, sunset or the jetty's, then a 1956 Desoto wagging huge surf waggon, 50.00 bucks, then a 1953 Plymouth 4door oppiset facing seats4 in back. 3speed no clutch, then then a friend's mom gave our 3man surf club a1954 Chrysler wagon a tank. We kind of finished 11th grade all them days of surfing farmer Jon wet suits was going to one of the fabolis L.A. Jr colleges wanting to be a psychologist and transfer to UCLA . Dropped out for a break of 1 semester. Uncle Sam sent a personal note greetings ur inducted into the USArmy 2months basic 2months ait, in my case advanced infantry training, 2weeks leave off to South V.N. HOME IN A YEAR. that's all folks.
