As you may have noticed, car prices have been up for a year or two but even with the higher prices, a fast 0-60 time is definitely attainable for less than $30,000 (the average price of a used car last year). Make sure to let me know if I missed any good cars here, if you own any of these and what you think of it, and what videos you'd want to see in the future!

Picked up a 15 Chevy ss for 13k at auction w 175000 miles, put 3k into in it and she runs like a beast

As far as the hemi tick it doesn’t typically happen in the srt8’s bc they have stronger oil pumps, the rt is what you have to worry about

I got a MINT 2001 LS1 Camaro with 28k miles on it for 10k. It's very similar to the c5 you have listed but for 20 grand less. I was a little skeptical when I first purchased the car that it was too good to be true but 2 years later and I can say it's the best vehicle purchase I've ever made. A lot of bang for your buck as long as your not going after an SS with a manual. Z28(same motor specs as the SS) with an auto is fine for me... I can't recommend 4th gen Fbodies enough to ppl who are looking for a budget muscle car.

Good video man... I think a lot of people will find it useful. 👍

Great video. I really appreciate you showing us some options for those of us on the lookout for a car with not a lot of dough (relatively speaking). Out of these, I would probably get the Camaro.

For more video ideas, maybe you could go on the opposite end and find the most expensive cars? Or perhaps some of the most iconic? There is no debate, for example, that Camaros are associated with the Transformer Bumblebee, thanks to the Michael Bay transformers movies. I still see auto bot badges of fifth generation Camaros to this very day. With either thing you choose, I will be looking forward to it.

I was able to pick a '08 Z51 C6 convertible with 34, 000ish miles on it last September for 31 out the door. What can say about it? I love it and yes I was looking at every car pretty much on this list. One thing to note about some of the other cars on the list are the owners who own the car. Yes, Corvettes are typically owned by an older crowd, but that can be a good thing because they took care of the car and did not dog it out. I was looking at 5.0 mustangs for around 30ish and everyone I saw had 70ish miles on them and looked like they were dogged out. The C6 I purchased was garage kept and was not dogged out which means a lot in my book.... Just one other little thing to note about the C6 which is to watch out for the harmonic balancers on these cars... The OME harmonic balancer is garbage and I ended up replacing mine just for a piece of mind

I would probably get the Camaro I think it looks much more aggressive and sleek than the mustang

Got an 05 gto a year ago. wouldn’t trade it in for anything else tbh. Bought it for $15k 69, 000 miles mildly built and I still continue to build it. Also has the best interior for price and there is no way you can convince me otherwise!

2010 Camaro owner here. I love my car more than the looks of the base C6 as well.

As much as I like my 4th generation f bodies the newer muscle has so many advantages from the factory that they really turn my head. I've been debating between a c5z or a high trim 5th Gen camaro. Both have their strengths and very few compromises.
