Hi Sweet Friends, Today I am answering a common question that I get about bone broth. Is it really more economical to make it homemade given the price of bones? What do y'all think? Love, Mary

Hi Mary, first I want to say that I love your videos and thank you for making them. I’ve made the beef, chicken and Turkey broth, but why does my broth come out greasy? I use the fat separator but I can still see and some if the fat. God bless you and may He continue to give you more talent good health and prosperity.

Great video Mary! Will definitely save my roasted chicken carcasses and bones in the freezer to make my own chicken broth. I’ve often wondered how safe are the organic ones I buy from Costco. Diddo with buying now, I’ll add my vegetables, bay leaf, spices and make my own in a slower cooker! What a money saver and a load off my mind regarding their food safety and handling! Thanks so much for sharing!

Awesome Mary. I had planned on making chicken bone broth video next week from the whole chicken bones left over from my whole chicken soup show. I love the crockpot idea. Will try it that way. Thanks!

Hello Mary, I was wondering if it is necessary to add the veggies or can I just add a few spices? Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge with us! God bless! Maureen

I just watched both your beef and chicken bone broth videos and they were great. I can get inexpensive raw chicken carcasses at my Asian grocery store. Do I have to roast it before making bone broth? My second question is, where do you get the flour sac towels you use to strain the broth? I live in Canada and I've never heard of them before. I was leaving in the fat but I can't say it tasted too hot. I'm looking forward to doing it your way. I'm also thrilled to find out you can reuse the bones. I supposed you can do the same thing with Pork, Goat or Lamb bones, or would Pork be too fatty? So many questions ... LOL. Thanks.

Hi Mary, I have try chicken broth and I find it so fatty, especially chicken feet. Did I did something wrong. I add roast chicken bones, chicken feet, carrots, celery, 2 bay leaves, onions, green peppers, cilantro, peppercorns, one parsnip and 1/4 cup of wine vinegar. Am I doing something wrong. It come out so fatty and so much oil that I can’t drink the broth after it was made? Please I must have done something wrong. Maybe I have to add salt into the broth. My beef bones broth comes out perfect.

Please, I need your advance. Thank you and I will be waiting for your answer.

Great video as usual! I use chicken feet too. You might want to share how to "prepare" the feet before adding them the mix to make your broth :-)

I never knew bone broth was so complex. Maybe I’m making it up to be because I’m not a chef 😂. So informative Mary! Very well done as usual!
