Thank you for your clear & concise whiteboard diagram ~ I think I finally understand. However, something with hand puppets would really seal the deal. 🤗

I use a hole saw with a flexible clear plastic/rubber bowl that fits on the shank of the holesaw bit. It seals tight to the ceiling and catches all of the dust and debris well giving you a perfect hole. You should look em up they are a godsend, especially if you have to run 30-50 pot lights or even just one. You want the flexible dust bowls not the rigid garbage ones they make look em up.

Hey handyman. Personal experience note: Lennox makes a line of hole saws with the diamond bur similar (but far superior) to grit u have on ur multitool blade used to cut the holes. They are VERY expensive ($60 for 3-5/8 last I checked) but worth every penny when cutting holes through dense or 2 coat plaster. And they last. I can usually cut close to 100 holes before I have to toss it. I have had to cut more holes that I can possibly count, to snake wires and install fixtures and, at the risk of sounding like a commercial, Lennox diamond grit hole saws are the best I've come across. I'm open to any better suggestions though. Anything to make the job easier and get it done faster. Also dust bowl attachments for your drill might alleviate the need for the zip wall/dexter kill room a little in certain situations

Seeing the holesaw comments I have a tip. Pretty sure a holesaw would work here ( mine was about 40 bucks ) but ALWAYS use a drill with a sidehandle. I was cutting thru two 1/2 pieces of plywood with a 6" saw for cornhole boards and almost broke my wrist when the saw snagged halfway thru. Was not using the sidehandle.

You don’t have to get up in the attic. That’s the beauty of these wafer LED lights

I had to follow the Amazon link to find out that the light fixture junction box could be safely covered with insulation. That is a highly desirable feature for this job and is an important detail for DIYers or future handypersons who stumble on your videos. Perhaps you could expand on your parts selection process down the road.

The drawing explains the circuit very well thank you. Love using wafer lights but have found the screw on connectors with some to be fussy and had call backs after a few months with the lights flickering. The solution is to make sure you’ve hand tightened those connections really well.

Nice job
I like the Bosch blades a lot. If your ever going to cut a lot of holes in plaster, grab a carbide tipped hole saw. They last forever. I’ve had the same one for years. The downside is you have to order them.
Keep up the good work.

Any particular reason you don't use a hole saw to cut the openings? It seems it would be a faster and cleaner hole.

With those wafer lights you don't have to land between the joists, they can mount directly over a joist... that's the great thing about them ..

I've never had to wire up a 4 way switch, but you made it very simple in the end of the video

Get yourself a pair of Kick Boxing padded shin guards. They work wonders crawling around the attic.

You didnt show where to run the cable or how to connect the cables, which cable to buy,

The carbide blades are definitely expensive, but I've had luck saving money by sharping them with a triangle file.

Nice job installing the 4 way light switches, fixtures, and explaining the wiring.

You can get a 6" TCT tipped hole saw on amazon which I think would have worked quite well cutting through all of that.

you can put as many 4 ways as you want in America lol.. they go between the 3 way travelers it does not matter how many in a normal situation
