My VT 500 had 24, 000 when I got it, the mileage rolled over after 11 years of riding putting it at 122, 000 miles before the repairs starting costing more than the value of the bike. Getting parts shipped from over seas start getting expencive. I did do some extensive work to the engine over the years, but the bike just wouldn't die!!! My now VTX 1300r with the 20, 000 miles i have on her not one issue!!!

I maintain my shadow ace regularly and beat on it pretty hard. Love the bike . 45, 000 kms. Gonna tear it down this winter and go three it all
