Salt Bae has caused quite the stir since he opened his London restaurant in September.
The new steak joint by the chef, whose real name is Nusret Gökçe, garnered a lot of attention as soon as it opened due to its prices.
One diner was recently left outraged over his £37,000 bill at the Nusr-Et Steakhouse restaurant in Knightsbridge - where Red Bull would set you back £11, and a steak at least £630.
Now, a Londoner has tried his hand at making Salt Bae’s £1,450 golden Tomahawk steak at home, to reveal the real cost and difficulty of making the infamous dish.
