I recommend you apply thin layer of vaseline/petroleum jelly and you put bandaid.

a nurse, however advised me to not put a bandage because then my skin couldn't breathe :O
But in my experience, bandage really did help

I had the 1st procedure, today and my dermatologist advised me not to cover. But I feel it will be safer for me to cover with the band aid after cleaning with water and soap. Then wipe it with betadine. Any time my hair could touch or dust might fall in the wound. I wasn’t given any antibiotics, too. A small part was sent to pathologist for biopsy test. Result will come after 5 days. I’ll meet my dermatologist after 2 weeks.

one question can I workout after a mole incision like a day or two? sounds like a goofy question but i googled how to care for the wound. I dont have stitches the doctor said just apply vaseline

I just had mine done. On the face. It takes 6 months to heal. I will put a bandaid on it to sleep to avoid nasty dead skin from the pillow on it
