Helimch failed to transform into a full butterfly due to not staying in his chrysalis long enough due to leaving it too soon to go with the rest of the Circus Bugs back to Bug City only appearing partially transformed with a blue back and tiny butterfly wings not big enough to lift him off the ground so it took the efforts of the ladybug and praying mantis and ants to get him into the air but Heimlich still admired himself and classified himself as a butterfly with his blue back and tiny wings and would do his chrysalis transform again in Bug City and turn into a full adult butterfly.

Funny how it's actually accurate to real life butterflies, it can take hours for their wings to fully grow out after emerging from the crysalis.

From what Ive heard he was about to get eaten alive by the parasite in his body if he continue his larvae state. But he unfinished the stage making him alive.
