Ummm.... That was a monarch butterfly, not a gypsy moth (like Gypsy, the character) and Dim was a rhinoceros beetle, not a June bug (or whatever that green thing was)...

That beetle looks a lot like a rhinoceros beetle, although they aren’t indigenous to the area in the movie.

A Real Bug's Life is a Disney+ Original Series from National Geographic that premiered on January 24, 2024. The series is inspired by Pixar's A Bug's Life and is described as a "fantastical adventure" into nine different micro bug worlds.

The series is narrated by Awkwafina and tells the stories of tiny heroes living in these worlds. The stories include a jumping spider looking for a home in New York and a Costa Rican orchid bee making perfume. The series is rated TV-PG and is said to be as fantastical as any animated film.
