Julie Andrews, Dick Van Dyke sing 'Let's Go Fly A Kite' with 'Saving Mr. Banks' cast at premiere

On Dec 9, 2013, the premiere of Saving Mr. Banks was held at the Walt Disney Studios with Tom Hanks, Emma Thompson, Jason Schwartzman, BJ Novak, Paul Giamatti, Colin Farrell, Richard Sherman, Dick Van Dyke, Julie Andrews, and other stars and filmmakers. At the end of the red carpet, the group gathered for a photo op and launched into a rousing rendition of Let's Go Fly A Kite.

i just finished watching saving mr banks for the first time. i never watched mary poppins before this year because my parents didn’t like it but now julie andrews and mary poppins are everything to me. before saving banks i didn’t realize how much she meant to me and now i can’t stop crying. i can’t put into words how grateful i am for them and how much they saved me.

The best part of this is how Tom hanks and the chic beside him are soooo energetic and Julie and dick are just doing it with a smile because it’s what the people ask for …but everyone else is seriously being their inner child over the moon because they are singing it with THE Mary Poppins and THE Bert Alfred !!! This just make this clip adorable because that’s the ole Mary poppins magic still do the tricks !!! They all become children again !

Flying a kite will have that effect, even singing about it !
