Hi mate as you know we have spoke before and I have been plastering for 35 years as you know, Now this goes out to all fellow plasterers, Now have you ever been stitched up on a job where the client will not pay ? take this from an old codger like me you do no more you go down to BP garage fill up a can with diesel go back and say ('ive just got to seal the wall') then paint that diesel over the wall and leave, they cant paint it cant wallpaper it cant artex nothing the only way to solve the problem is to take it all off right back to brick, the diesel soaks back to brick and you are the one laughing not them lol, good job mate keep spreading.

I'm not a true plasterer (bathroom n kitchen fitter by trade) I've just had a go at walls and ceilings over the years and love to when I get the chance. These plastering vids you produce are simply the best I've come across for content and your explations spot on; I always learn somthing new. I have a kitchen to fit next and look forward to half the wall falling down when I strip it 😏.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! 👍🏾

Hello Blaine, many thanks for your excellent videos. I have a damp chimney breast - in lime plaster- in a pre 1900 house. The source of the dampness has been fixed. I now need to re plaster. Please can you refer me to any of your videos which deal with re plastering old lime plastering or recommend the products I need to use?

Oh maaaan, you have no idea how much your video helped me out today !
Thank you kindly for taking the time to help out us beginners 🙌
It’s my first time renovating my own home without any guy/help and of course I chose to do a plaster design on an accent wall.. I’ve already made a couple mistakes and that before even starting to plaster ☺️and I have to go and get multi and bonding .. I have to check the plaster I bought. Have no idea what I got I just grabbed a couple boxes thinking it was all the same….nervous Nellie lol

Thanks for the video. Can you comment about addition of lime to gypsum plaster. I've heard it makes it harder and has no negative repercussions.

Hi Blaine, this is a very helpful video. I have a breeze block wall that is plastered without plasterboards and is slightly off near the skirting boards, leaving a gap behind them. Currently the builders have just used filler behind this which looks ugly. Would I be correct in saying that I could use bonding to even out the uneven part of the wall followed by a multifinish or easy fill 60?
