The thing is, we are still using a system that was built during and post WWII, when working was in the best interest for the ppl, now that the ppl interest is shifting due to multiple factors, they narrow it down to “the youth being lazy” or “not wanting to work.” When the truth is, ppl just wanted to feel valued, respected, and paid accordingly for the services they provide.

I am quite proud of you for having that nonsense figured out at such a young age. You are absolutely correct. There is so much more to life than just working yourself to death, making profits for someone else, for absolutely no appreciation whatsoever; and in a lot of cases, being sorely underpaid in the process. Companies have the attitude that you should be content coming to work for them for as little as possible, and that should be a no go for anyone. You are on the right track, stay focused, and make sure you keep your best interest at heart.
