I have actually had a ganglion cyst smashed, by a doctor, with a Physician's Desk Reference book . Hurt like hell , it has never come back. I was in high school at the time and I am 75 years old now. Guess it works .

He doesn't recommend smashing it because if you don't, he gets to do an easy and needless $7500 surgery to do the same job that a book can do.

Mine was that big, I drank a couple beers and had my friend hit it and I literally disappeared like magic, and it's been about 15 years and still gone and zero pain or anything afterwards.

I had that before and I was at work putting stock away and tripped over a crate and caught myself with my hand and it disappeared and the pain went away and it never came back lol I was so glad I fell

I get these occasionally and I find if I leave it alone it goes down. I would never hit myself.

I use to have a huge one same location. Warm packs every night for 3 months it went away.

Old timers called em Bible cysts, because, the Bible was the one book, most had available to smash it with .

Just push as HARD as you possibly can on it with your thumb and massage until it feels tingly and a little numb. Gone in a few minutes.

They say to hit it with a Bible. I had one years ago it did burst it but omg it hurt way worse than I anticipated.

Why can't you just sterilize a needle and poke it and let it pop like a pimple then rubbing alcohol the area and bandage it up? Gonna do that to mine if it gets bigger, don't see the issue.

Got told by two doctors to smash it and stop wasting time lol it isn't worth their time to remove now a days
