I like to have a laid back learning environment. Education is a voluntary so it is important to work with students strengths rather than try to always control them. Not saying discipline is not used or necessary.

all along I felt dumb as hell in school if you would have been my teacher I would have made a A on every test lol, people don't understand that certain people learn certain ways.

I suppose, a way to make them more receptive, relaxed and happy. I plan on teaching physics and astronomy after I get my masters and my tc; I took leave a few months ago and went home, visited some of my old teachers at the high school and oh boy some of the students... let's just say by the time I got out of there my blood was boiling. haha

I wouldn't take advantage of the fact that your are easy going and laid back. I would feel comfortable in that learning environment. But... you are working with hormone raging teenagers. lol A little unruliness is expected I guess. :P
