It's rare to find straight to the point explanations without an intro that takes up 3/4 of the video for pretty much anything these days, it's all about views and subscribers. On the other hand, this is a simple, short and easy to understand tutorial. Brilliant.

Here’s a tip:
After making Y the same on both equations (6y) look at the value in front of it. This will tell you wether to subtract or add.

I have spent way to long trying to do this. We did this early this year before COVID got bad and I was really confuse, then we went into online teaching and my confusion just increased by like 1000.

Normally my teacher is really good at teaching but with online schooling it's so much harder to grasp this and feel like I'm having to teach myself because of it.

This was super helpful! I was having trouble and this completely helped me understand it.
On a side note, if equation one and two have a minus, just multiply one by a negative number so the y values equal zero! I know it seems obvious, but it took me a while!
