How to Convert HEIC to JPG in Windows

Apple's HEIC image format is great on Apple devices, but it doesn't play well with Windows. Here's how to convert them into JPG files to make them easier to edit.

When I open the .heic in "Photos", it tells me I have to download an extension, then tries to charge me for it in the microsoft store. Sad.
