Fun fact: if you follow the bracken while it takes a body you can kill it pretty easily without a stun gun.

Good explanation, but the bracken's nest is not limited to be the yellow room, it can actually be any room in the map, but if there's no valid rooms in the map he will simply not carry the bodies away

Even better than killing it, you can trap it and it'll lower the max number of monsters in the facility.

Fun fact I believe the Bracken actually takes its victims to the farthest location away from all entrances on the map instead of a distinct room

Doesnt really turn red, it’s always a fleshy red color, it’s just really hard to tell since it’s usually in the shadows, and red blends in really well with black

Iirc if you stare at him when hes sneaking behind you and he backs away its not because hes shy or scared, its because hes having fun with its prey, thats why if you stare them for too long they will go "alright this dude isnt fun anymore"

The bracken room is actually a bug in the game. Its "favorite spot" where it brings players to can be any room.

FYI. The "Bracken Room" is just common misinformation. The Bracken just picks a favored room when spawning, usually being the room farthest from the main entrance room.

Tip; the bracken, like everything else (bar ghost girl), is very weak against the shotgun. One to to shells will destroy it

Braken do have a special room, but it’s a randomly selected based on whichever is furthest from the entrance and players,
