Honestly both versions of coil head are equally as terrifying.

Vanilla Coilhead never moves when you look at it, but you can tell that it will because of how the head recoils when it stops. It’s playing against the basics of primal information, and it makes you feel like the danger both is and isn’t real.

The slow moving coil head just reaffirms your primal fear. Yes, it’s aware and willing to run at you. No, it isn’t deactivated or turned off, you’re in just as much danger as when you first encountered it
