Since the rail cheese is nerfed: you can kill it by staying very close to it. When chasing it ramps up speed until reach’s biting distance. You can sprint backpedal on one at point blank and it should only move at a crawl speed

They are actually called Half, if you scan them you will see that, and makes more sense with it's lore. Thumper is the fan given name for obvious reasons if you played the game, and personally i like saying Thumper over Half
