The MacBook Pro 13 (Mid-2017) is really an excellent laptop. Great screen, battery life, sound, and build. Lack of variety of ports, and controversial keyboard are potential negatives. I actually like the keyboard. Let me know what you think.

I've got to say, this is one of the most comprehensive reviews I've seen. The thermal imaging, game stats, battery stats, and your in depth explanations of the features, and the possible pros/cons was great. Seems like everyone else just read the brochure, while you really put it to work (not just puke out geekbench stats). Really impressive video. Also, I like the Grunt Style clothing you were sporting.

At last someone who agrees with me. I returned my touchbar MacBook for the non touchbar. I found it drained the battery faster and I just didn't use it at all. Much prefer the one w/o. I got the 256gb as I plan on keeping it for a few years and 128gb would not be enough. Great video choice.

I bought this at the base model and I am happy with this. The biggest issue for me was the space. So far so good. The ports work for me just fine. I have heard a lot of people HATE the touch bar. Hopefully this year they put out a 15-inch model without touch bar.

Seriously, the best and most well-rounded review of this laptop there is! I have already ordered my 256gb variant which will replace my current Dell Inspiron for everyday use and audio work/recording.

Its been a year since I am using this laptop i.e. base model 8 GB 128 GB W/O Touch Bar. There has been no performance issues yet. I love this machine even though the keyboard is dust sensitive. My Mac's keyboard failed twice and I got it replaced by apple for free both the times. Now since I have moved to a less dusty place, the keyboard seems to be working fine.

i have my new macbook pro 13 128 gb, i know it has the lowest internal hard drive, but i used to have my 1tb wd as my daily storage driver, everything is working good for me, i'm loving the display so much. thanks for the review.

I appreciate someone calling out Apple for using a 480p webcam on their $1000+ MacBook. I love their laptops, and use a 2010 MBP, but come man. It's ridiculous. At least the Pro has a decent webcam, but they really need to treat the MacBook with some tech newer than 2005.

I've had the 256GB variant of this laptop since the end of June and have no real complaints. As a matter of fact, the Mid 2017 13-inch MacBook Pro is the first laptop I've had since my old Early 2011 17-inch MacBook Pro that I've truly been happy with. It can even do some light gaming and makes a pretty nice Windows laptop as well!

Got it for 1120, after student discount from bestbuy. Loving it so far, smooth, good battery life and travel friendly! Really happy with it. My last laptop was HP, which didn’t last me 2 years. Hoping my MacBook lasts me some good number of years. 👋🏼

You could practically do a whole separate video dedicated to the selection of dongles out there in the marketplace now. One thing reviewers on YouTube seldom mention is what kind of monitors a machine like this can drive via USB-C.
