Welcome to lecture 3 of Math 205 JW - Elements of Calculus.

In this lecture we continue our review of some algebra concepts that will be useful later in our study of calculus. We emphasize calculations in this lecture, but you should be aware that other ideas touched upon (like graphing and factoring) are also important.

We go through evaluation of functions, piecewise functions, and finding domains.

We will talk even more about functions in the next lecture--they're super important.
