Nice, simple recipe! Wow, I can pop these little gems in the oven while I'm working on something else in the kitchen... the recipe uses things that I always have around in my pantry. Thanks!

Also, some finely grated fresh ginger is always a lovely addition...and a bit of fresh grated nutmeg...and perhaps a smidgen of cardamon, star anise, allspice!

One thing that I've had fun making for high nutrition snacks with natural B-12 are different kinds of flavored roasted pumpkin seeds. I have made all sorts of tasty versions that include adding cinnamon, tumeric/curry and bit of tamari with a tad of garlic/onion powder and just a little amount of raw sesame oil, sunflower oil to 'retain' the spices to the pumpkin seeds. Also Tajin (Mexican lime and chili powder seasoning) is also very great with the pumpkin seeds.. adding with this some garlic and onion powder. Another great option is adding to the pumpkin seeds Umani (Mushroom) seasoning, and also roasting the pumpkin seeds with a little oil and Baharat or Ras El Hanout seasoning

Bananas are the source of my nutrition, good to know there are more inviting options to eating them raw and in power-shakes. Thanks for sharing. Good work.

Some additional thoughts I have are to add some flax or chia seeds and peanut butter, dried Have you used the 'quick cooking/instant' oats in this recipe?

I'm confident in saying that, just by looking at them, the oats used here are NOT rolled oats, but rather quick or instant oats, which makes a HUGE difference in the outcome.
Upon further inspection and judging by zee acksent of zee host, German 'haferflocken' were probably used, which are vastly different in texture (and cooking time) from old fashioned oats, which will yield VERY different results.
No big deal, but if you cater yourself to an international audience you might want to research this stuff. :)
