3-INGREDIENT BANANA OATMEAL BREAKFAST COOKIES
1.5 cups oatmeal (I used 1/2 cup rolled and 1 cup quick)
2 medium bananas
1/3 cup mini chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Line a rimmed baking sheet with a silpat mat or coat with some cooking spray.

Using the back of a fork, mash bananas in a medium bowl until they are broken down. Add in oats and gently stir until all of the oats and bananas are mixed together and look like a thick cookie batter.

Now your ready to add the chocolate chips! Sprinkle them into the dough and stir until they are just mixed throughout.

Scoop one heaping tablespoon of the dough into your hands and free form into a cookie*. Place on cookie sheet and continue until you have 12 cookies.

Cook for 12-15 minutes or until set through and lightly golden. Cool and enjoy!

*NOTE: these cookies will not spread in the oven so be sure to form them into a cookie before placing on baking sheet.

Thank you for this recipe ! They turned out surprisingly good. I would like to give the measurements in grams :
60 gr.chocolate chips
135 gr. oat meal
Bake in 180 C. oven until set
In my opinion they taste better when warm.

Made 2 batches of these yesterday. They took 5 mins to prep and 15m to bake. I added pinch of salt, 1/4 tsp vanilla, and sprinkled some cinnamon and nutmeg in each batch. One batch was with chocolate chips, the other with walnuts and raisins. Both came out great. Such a delicious, hearty, portable breakfast or snack! My family loved them! Thanks for the video.

I made these this morning. I ran out of store brought breakfast pastries, and decided to give these a try. These were WAY better.

Phenomenal!! I used old fashioned oats and let them set in bananas @ 20 min. Also added 1 tsp vanilla extract, 2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1 TBS Maple syrup, pinch of salt and 1 TBS Peanut Butter protein powder. Delish!!

I've been making these for years. My daughter loves them. Great source of fiber! I use a touch of vanilla in mine and a pinch of sea salt.

These are the easiest cookies I’ve ever made, and they came out great! I was worried the oats would make the cookies hard and dry, but they were wonderfully soft and chewy. Will definitely be making them again

These are perfect for when you're sick. They're just enough to snack on throughout the day without upsetting your stomach if you're already queasy.

for anyone wondering about proportions, if you used the recipe as made in the video for 15 cookies each would be 79 calories

Love it! Excellent idea for someone on the run in the morning. I added my personal touch - 1/2 cup shredded coconut, 1 tablespoon of flaxseed meal, 1 tablespoon of chia seeds, a touch of vanilla and cinnamon.

These are amazing as a foundation recipe. For me personally, I love getting the best bang for my buck, so.... I did everything in the same measurements as above except I added three tbsp of pb fit (protein peanut butter powder), 1 tbsp of flax seeds, 1 tbsp of chia seeds, 1 tbsp of honey, and a pinch of cinnamon, Stevia sweetener, and sea salt. I didn't need to add any other wet ingredients and they turned out perfectly chewy. I baked 15 semi thick cookies taking up a whole baking sheet at 350 for 15 minutes and then another 5 minutes with the oven turned off. Great warm or chilled. Depends on your texture preference but this was PERFECT to me nicely browned and chewy! Thanks for the recipe, I plan to get even more creative with my next batch. Love me some coconut, but maybe not combined with peanut butter! Cheers! 💗🍪

Made these last night with only rolled oats bc it's all I had on hand and let the oat and banana mixture soak for 30 minutes. I then added some peanut butter that I melted in the microwave to make mixing it easier and the Chocolate chips. I baked mine a smidge longer bc of the added peanut butter and they turned out AMAZING.

Thank you for this base recipe. Going to omit /he chocolate chips next time for blueberries for my daughter bc she loved these.

did 2/3 quick oats, 1/3 5 minute oats, 2 ultra brown ripe bananas, and used 1/2 chocolate chips & 1/2 raisins, 1/4 tsp cinnamon. Took 35 minutes in 350º toaster oven, but came out delicious. Thank you.

I’ve made these three times! Tonight I added 1/2 more banana and I couldn’t find mini dark chocolate chips so I bought regular dark chocolate chips and did a very rough chop. So yummy! My boss keeps asking me to make more! Thanks Dani! You’re a love!

To elevate the flavors, I would add a pinch of salt and 1/2 tsp or 1 tsp of vanilla extract😋

I just watched this video and made— my teen who doesn’t like oatmeal due to texture, loves these during CV quarantine to avoid eating junk and boost the immune system. Thank you so much for posting!
