Go with the GoPro 8. The stabilization is fantastic. Makes shaky motorcycle footage come out buttery smooth. Anything else made of Chinesium is gonna be a waste of money. Budget camera comes with budget quality.

Exactly. I purchased this a while back for my youngest son just to test whether he really wanted to film and start a YouTube channel. It was a very inexpensive test to find out that he really didn’t want to film and that it actually wasn’t the quality of the gear because he had no idea that the footage looked like a 4K potato. 😁

All GoPro’s are made in China, they are however designed and engineered in the states before the designs are sent to China for manufacture. GoPro have their own facilities in China that do this. In fact most of the goods in your house are made in China, including those that say “Made in the USA”.

Are my eyes deceiving me?... I thought the clarity and lighting of the cheap camera ("If to use the term"").. was much much better the Hero 6 which was darker, blurry and lacked light...as if dusk was fast instance the skater was almost indistinguishable what you would expect with a lack of light.. THIS from the Hero 6? surprised me.. The cheaper camera nice and bright and clear...In other words in MY OPINION the Cheaper CAMERA GAVE A CLEAR, SHARPER BETTER LIT PICTURE THAN THE BLURRY LACK OF LIGHT DUSKY HERO 6...BOTH LACKED stabilization which wasn't an item of comparison. I was surprised in this Demo how poorly the Go Pro performed. .Go Pro ....TOO Expensive...and necessary add on's TOO EXPENSIVE adding more fuel to the fire.. just to accommodate an external mic & Tripod..I spent much time looking into all this stuff...settled on using my Android phone and a Rode Lavalier external mic. .for my needs...On the positive side for Go Pro.. the Hero six probably almost in the same price range.. since there is a GP ..7-8-9."If you are a diver as I was at one time... unhesidently I would only trust the GP. underwater camera. .many diving friends used them...To be more specific the Akasco half the price.. has stabilization now as the GP 7-8-9...My intelligence was not to bash Go Pro...but I did indeed feel my intelligence insulted.
