If it works, it works. I have this tripod, it's my first, and honestly the "cheap" plastics are already really good. I have taken numerous trips, and it has been very robust. Solid and cheap. I don't care how it feels if it works the way it's intended to.

Bought it 5 year ago for 600rs. Still going strong.
You just gotta bhi careful with clips, the clips are made of supercheap plastics. Don't let anyone use it
