Lord almighty thank you so much. After looking at about half a dozen of these videos and only seeing cameras starting at like $800 and going up to, I kid you not, $2, 400 for "beginners" I was starting to think I was gonna be stuck with my little zoom q2n.

I just picked up a M6 from Adorama for $200. Amazing what you can get for this amount of money nowadays. I will be adding a 22mm f2 EF-M. Not vlogging but using as a c-cam.

Dude, I don't watch youtube everyday. Or every week for that matter. I catch it when I catch it. But, when i do I will always come to your channel to catch up on your stuff! Another great video! I've been very interested in DJI Osmo Pocket and other cameras like it. I think I'd prefer that over the GoPro style cameras. But, honestly not sure. I'd definitely consider an action cam though. I'd like to record me and my wife at theme parks and other activities. So, now that I type this. The action cam would probably be smarter as it's probably stronger than the Osmo pocket type camera

I use 2 of the 3 recommendations all the time. I don't have the action camera, and use an LG V50 in that role. I've shot nearly 300 videos for my channel using these cameras. I am planning to get one more body ... it will either be an a6000 or another a5100. I'm kind of leaning toward the a6000 to use full-time on my gimbal. Don't need the vlogging capability for that. But I do want the good 1080p video that the a5100 and a6000 offer. Good show and great idea for a topic. Cheers

Great video. You always make good editing, pick pleasant music and beautiful b-rolls) Seems like Sony has less distortion, but overall dji is better.

very good video. dji osmo pocket is a tiny great camera, ive made over 5000 usd with that camera alone. i'm considering the pocket 2, but not much improvements there, so im leaning towards a real camera now. for under 200 usd the pocket is a great value for money. gopro 7 is also cool, i dont have it tho. im probably getting a sony a series camera next.

Great video. Looking to add another camera to my Hero 10 and Insta360 ONE X2, so this is useful info. I don’t do much walk and talk and do voiceover. I think I’ll consider the DJI Osmo Pocket AND one from the Sony NEX series.

gotta love the Sony jarring, bounce dance...does the DJI have a pause button? Olympus micro 4/3 can shoot video with 5 axis stabilization and cheap or pro lenses galore

I own both this and A5000. Would be nice comparasion to do. They are very similar yet vey different cameras. Love them both Sony A5000 for better menus and clean hdmi. 5T/R for touch/level extra dial and 60p video.
