I'm a college writing instructor and this is basically what I tell them on the first day of class. "Say things that you think are true. Make arguments that you think are good arguments. Write sentences that you think sound good." The third of these is easier said than done, but these are the things people overlook when they take writing.

I’m pretty much a nobody in the YouTube space so my advice may be absolutely meaningless to you dear reader, but I have a movie review channel, pretty much just getting started as I’ve been doing it since last spring. I’ll tell y’all that it’s a grind man. Its a grind in that when your first get started it’s going to feel like you’re doing it for nothing. I feel that way sometimes because I average around 20-30 views a video but some have done way better. He’s right in that you have to really love what you’re doing or else it’ll get old really quickly and that’s what keeps me going, Thats why on average I drop 2-3 videos a week. For virtually nobody.... but it’s not for nothing, I’m getting more and more experience and getting better with every video. In a way it’s like going to school for video creation and self teaching. That’s persistence and commitment. You got to have that if you want to be successful in anything you do. I know that because aside from making YouTube videos, I also run a business. You got to be willing to grind in order to be a success and you also have to be willing to start at the very bottom. Every major youtuber started out with 0 subs, 0 views, 0 likes, 0 dislikes, 0 comments. To take a line from Field of Dreams... if you build it they will come.

2:16 I needed to hear that. Started my own sports blog on the first of the year and was feeling a little down that I wasn't getting the same support I had put out. This was really a confidence booster.

Awesome stuff, man. Just started mine and it was good to hear someone else that didn't get the following from the people close to them.

I love this! I’m trying to figure out how to start a podcast for a sport that’s not even that large, would love to gain an audience of listeners and eventually start a whole new type of full armor combat sport. It would definitely be something new but I’m trying to figure out that formula on getting people interested in something they never have seen yet.

#1. Audio quality.
Everything else really doesn't matter.

It’s weird that I was here at 10k subs and that was like 5 months ago

@strongopinionsports I was thinking of fitness/nutrition podcast or motivational talk since I have a lot of my community that is close minded and yeah...

Been a fan of the show on my main channel for over a year. Me and my friend decided to start a podcast. Let me know what you think you said not to comment until we have 3 episodes up.
