Hello Everyone! Today in this video I will guide you on How to Run C/C++ in Visual Studio Code on Windows 10/11 [ 2024 Update ] VS Code + C/C++ on Windows 10/11 OS.

After that, I will also show you How to Create your First Hello World Program in Python programming and then how to compile and run them.

Now How to install Visual Studio Code?
Step 1. First You need to download Visual Studio Code for Windows 10/11. For that just go to the following link:
This page will lead to the Visual Studio Code download page.

Here find the exe setup installation file as shown in the video and click on it to download.
Now after downloading Visual Studio Code save the file to the disk and follow the next step for installation.

Step 2. Install Visual Studio Code

What’s the Visual Studio Code?
- Visual Studio Code is a free source-code editor made by Microsoft for Windows, Linux, and macOS. Features include support for debugging, syntax highlighting, intelligent code completion, snippets, code refactoring, and embedded Git.

Now it is time to install C/C++:
Step 3. First You need to download gcc-win64 for Windows 10/11. For that just go to the following link:
This page will lead to the gcc-win64 for Windows Sourceforge download page.

Here find the exe setup installation file as shown in the video and click on it to download.
Now after downloading gcc-win64 save the file to the disk and follow the next step for installation.

Step 4. Install gcc-win64
Double-click to run the gcc-win64 installation file. Just follow the prompt as shown in the video • How to install MinGW-w64 on Windows 1... and install MinGW-w64 on your OS.

Step 5. Now you need to set the environment variables, so you need to paste the bin path. If you face any difficulty just follow the video.

What’s the gcc-win64 compiler?
- GCC (GNU Compiler Collection) is a free and open-source compiler for C and C++ (and other languages like Objective-C, Fortran, D).
