On August 5, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned as protests and violence intensified across the country. Following her resignation, Hasina fled Bangladesh and her aircraft landed near Delhi. Amidst the ensuing power vacuum and ongoing unrest, the Bangladesh Army has taken control. After Hasina's departure, Army Chief General Waker Uz Zaman addressed the nation, announcing that the military would establish an interim government. He urged citizens to avoid further violence and assured them that their demands would be met. The unrest, which began with anti-quota student protests several weeks ago, has resulted in around 300 deaths. Watch the full video for more.
