We are tired of listening "What my father's dream was" or "What my husbands dream was". We want new voices which talks about the present, not that which goes back 53 years in every speech.

Does Bangladesh have leaders who can be in power and still give opposition political space? Without a strong opposition there is no democracy... it's either military puppets or dictators.

If bnp comes into power, then it really isn't a second liberation. The cycle of AL and BNP rule has to end.

I hope and pray everyone shows restraint. This is our country. Destroying public or private property or harming anyone, does not do anyone any good. If we have learned anything, no one should show any revenge type attitude towards anyone. Otherwise, all of this has gone in vain.

I believe that the recent decision by some people in Bangladesh to embrace Islamic extremism may bring short-term satisfaction to those involved. However, I am concerned that future generations will ultimately bear the consequences of this path. Only time will reveal the true cost of this choice.

Bangladesh does not want to see BNP-Jamaat-e-Islami and Awami League imposing the same reverse trend.

One despot will replace another and the circle of life goes on for bangladesh. Student movements don't give you responsible governments. Solid institutions, civil rights and democracy do. You don't deserve democracy unless you fight for it. Remember this movements fight is with a person and quota issue, not about democracy.
