Zabka acting is amazing. When Daniel tells him the repairs will cost more than the car is worth. Johnny’s face tells the whole story. He doesn’t want to ask Daniel for free repairs but has no other choice.

Regarding the car dealership scene, people focus in on Daniel teasing Johnny but they ignore how friendly Danny was and how is was about to use his friends and family discount and then literally did the job for free. That is just so unbelievably kind and forgiving.

Imaging doing something so nice to someone who used to beat you up so badly you couldn't breath. But that just proves what nice guy Danny is. Remember that next time someedgy guy on the internet tries to say Danny was the real villain.

I love it how towards the ending of season1, They were having a drink together, talking about the past, singing the same song, and having fun until Robby had to be at Danny's house to train on the same day and ruined their friendship. They were so damn close to be friends

I don’t get the Internet. People saying Daniel was a heartless villain, yet he’s treating Johnny like an old friend when they see each other again. If anything, Johnny was the rude one here.

Johnny Laurence was awesome in the original Karate Kid movie and he is still awesome in Cobra Kai. If he was not on this new series I would have never gave it a chance. I do like some of the new characters but Johnny Laurence in my opinion is the star of the show.

The grin Johnny gives Daniel at the end is a throwback to the same grin he gave Daniel years ago when Daniel was checking out the Cobra Kai dojo

I really enjoy the rivalry. It's definitely the foundation of the show. It definitely keep me in. Any scenes with Daniel and Johnny are epic.

As someone who *despised* johnny as a kid watching the original karate kid, this makes me SOOO happy to see.

Many are calling Daniel heartless for him trying to shut down Cobra Kai. But do you know how much PTSD he probably has from all of it? First his first bit of fights with Johnny, but then in the third movie, he's manipulated and betrayed be people he trusted in Cobra Kai. Sure what Daniel does is wrong, but it's not out of spite like many think.

Miyagi's karate and Kreese's karate both have their place depending on the situation. Like everything else in life, it depends on context. I come down more on the Kreese/Silver side, but I get Miyagi's intent. Sometimes aggression is better, sometimes being defensive is. The wisdom comes from knowing the difference. They're really two sides of the same coin.
