Daniel doesn't realise that Johnny saving Miguel from Kyler and his friends was the equivalent of Mr Miyagi saving him from Johnny and his friends on Halloween night in the first film

That's what Daniel does different then Mr Miyagi. Daniel goes by himself and jumps into conclusions while Mr Miyagi took a young Daniel with him and settled the agreement of the tournament, giving Daniel a chance to build respect with the Cobra Kais, but not tried to close it down. He only confronted Kreese when the fight was inevitable (when he was choking a young Johnny). Daniel should have brought Kyler with him to discuss the matter

The last part where Daniel turns his car's headlights on and they both smirk at each other is just epic.

Daniel: you shouldn't listen to anything this guy says or you'll end up exactly like him
Miguel: a badass?

At the end Johnny gives Daniel the same smirk he gave him when he first stepped into his dojo 30 years earlier.

My first reaction was *Uh oh!!! Johnny and Daniel are now wearing their Shoes on their hands*

If Johnny said “I kicked the shit out of a bunch of assholes who were attacking my student”, things would have went a lot different.

When you really think about it, this scene highlights how Daniel and Johnny are both bitter about their beef with each other in the past, 30 years later they are both still insecure about it so they throw insults at each other out of anger and resentment.

Terry silver was right Daniel was always a hot head.

To be fair, at first i thought Daniel would turn into a villain type of character. Like think about it, he has money, he jumps to conclusions immediately and wants to shut down the new Cobra Kai and he still can't see Johnny as a man trying to make some money using his skills and knowledge

One of the moments that gave me goosebumps and made me all excited. This scene sparked the rivalry once again after decades.

The framing of Daniel stepping up to the edge of the Mat and squaring off is awesome.

Mr miyagi did the same thing for Daniel when Johnny was attacking him bro 😭

The show should STILL have this Cobra vs. Miyagi tension. It's ridiculous that every single student and every single sensei (except a few exceptions) sees the light and becomes a good guy.

0:56 Johnny should’ve said: that sound familiar to you, Danielle

To be honest I hated those kinda scenes in first seasons because they didn't talk to clear things out they just starting to fighting and fight over they're like : "Oh that what you meant I'm sorry"
I'm glad that now finally they're working together

Lol!! Every time someone walks into this dojo at night, it seems like there’s a confrontation. Whether it’s Johnny, Daniel, Amanda, etc.

I know hardly anybody talks about this but it's really low of Daniel to be trying to confront Johnny, who is almost broke and down on his luck, especially since he doesn't know the whole story. I mean, Daniel has lots of money and a family, and he's picking fights with his now rival who, again, is so down on his luck and nearly broke with life.
