Absolutely yes. Those in their 70s hardly represent what’s best for me and those in my age range. Furthermore, old people are declined mentally and physically (as mentioned in the video). We would be better off without this limitation for a job that is demanding. Plus there’s a lower age limit so why not an upper?

No, age is relative. There are 80 year olds who will out live 30 year olds. The chance of dying doesn't necessarily increase with age. No president who has died in office has died of old age. Look at how old senators and judges can get.

Now, the question of should there be a standardized competency test is a great question. Intellectual and psychological testing would be a fantastic idea. Just a minimum requirement, pass or fail, precise scores never published. That is definitely something that would be beneficial.

Also, why not term limits. 1 term for each office, but let them be longer terms. President 10 years, Senate 8 years, house 6 years... 1 term and that's it, no need to depend donors and not upsetting them, you just do what you think is right and that's it. I'm tired of our politicians functioning 100% of the time in re-election mode with 75% of their day trying to raise money for the next election, this would end that.

We do not need an age limit, but instead let's have basic mental and physical tests for all candidates in the Primary to determine if they should be eligible or not, and a full background check.
