No. Life expectancy and healthspan will very likely increase in the near future and an upper age limit would be very arbitrary and discriminate against qualified and competent people based on age. Term limits and cognitive tests make more sense.

YES! I have wanted this for a while. Why should we have retirement aged people running the country? We need a retirement age for Congress and all political offices and judges, also.

As important of a job. As president. It needs to have more requirements. Other jobs, that work with the public have requirements. What would be wrong with it? Especially after 65. Which is normal age for retirement.

I think it would be great! It needs to happen in the Senate! I'm 68, but I don't want other old people there. They are a product of another time. I'd love to see more like AOC.

Yes. Same with SCOTUS and other seats. 65 seems appropriate.
Also everyone running for ANY office needs to prove that they will serve the country and not corporations.

I personally think if you are given the ability to make decisions for the future, you should have a personal stake in that future. Talking to my older relatives has taught me that the short term wins are easy to choose when you don't expect to live long enough to see the consequences.

Yes. I am 62 and I never thought we would elect two presidents older than me after Obama.
