I have the 65”. It’s a great all in one solution, especially for Dolby Atmos and Vision. Affordable options for finance. I tweaked up some of the settings as personal viewing preference. Buggy on release… indeed, frustrating at times… indeed. That’s what comes with early adopters. OLED is better, full surround is better, but for most people this would be a more than acceptable upgrade from a non 4k setup and a cheap sound bar. I’ve got rid of the Bravia 43” will the 5.1 speaker set up and this is more than suitable as an upgrade.

Great video. I believe there is a game-mode now. Do you know if this is good enough for gaming without input lag? Thanks

Did you ever make a more in depth video or anything with what best settings to adjust in colour, white balance etc to make the picture more accurate?

Vincent, me and my friend purchased together two LG 65 G1 here in the U.S. We are noticing an issue that’s been known in the U.K. with LG C1’s and G1’s TV not recognizing HDCP 2.2 and instead displaying HDCP 1.4 on all four HDMI ports on the TV. I’m unable to play any 4K movie disk properly on my Oppo 203 player. Tried calling LG and they are not familiar with this issue here. Not sure what to do, just have one week with the TV and not a fan of a technician opening up the TV already. I love the TV’s performance so far except my oppo 203 is now completely inoperable displaying 4K and in some disk no picture at all. As of now, My Apple 4K TV seems to be streaming & displaying all 4k HDR content perfect despite it still displaying HDCP 1.4 and not HDCP 2.2.

Do you know if there will be any software update addressing this problem here in the U.S. soon? I believe this is a software problem and not a hardware issue.

Thank You for your feedback and support in this matter!

HdTV test Vincent I currently have a 2014 panasonic 50ax802b TV led TV and would like to get something newer at some point are there any led tvs that would have better picture quality than my current panasonic 50ax802b my dad has the dx900 Panasonic and its an awsome TV for led would need something that's 50 inch to 55 max that would have better picture quality than my panasonic 50ax802b or come close if not better than the dx900 I've seen many comparison videos on LEDs vs OLED and I'm still not convinced I prefer them yet as most off the time LEDs can look better at some points what's your thoughts on this are panasonic and Sony the most natural looking picture quality tvs because from what I've seen they seem to be the best

Would you recommend a extended warranty for a A80j tv or just go with 1 year manufacturer warranty??

I have had my sky glass tv for over an year now and i can honestly say its been a really good tv. ok so the picture might not be as good as most but with a bit of fine tuning in the settings you can get a decent picture. The layout from sky is amazing far better than skyq and the speakers are good as well.

Vincent, the latest C1 firmware update has caused all sorts of problems with the picture looking dark. What did they change ? Did this happen for you as well?

Got the 55” last week. Having lots of pixelation on blacks on Sky, BBC, ITV etc but no issues with Netflix, Disney or Amazon. Anyone know why this happens?
