I have this new sky steam for two week now. Like the boxes but only things I don't like can't record on it. Fantastic picture and sound. So easy to used . Great live sport

I have been without SKY for a few years. A couple of days ago I received a letter from them offering me SKY Stream for £23.00 a month. I called them today and told the guy about the offer, and he said he could offer me.a better deal than that. I got it for £15.00 a month, a bargain. The gear should arrive tomorrow. I hope it is as good as you have shown here.

I’ve had Sky stream since day 1, So far has been brilliant, I’m not bothered about not being able to record programmes, fantastic picture, got mine running through a Dolby atmos sound bar, so the sound is great, neat little box so unobtrusive, basically a one box solution, a couple more apps would be good, but all in all well done Sky, love your reviews, keep up the fantastic work 👏👏

I’ve never understood why people still have Sky, I got rid of them years ago when they refused to give me a good deal after my contract expired. Their prices are extortionate, I can afford it, I just have an aversion to throwing that much money away each month just to watch some TV shows.

I took the plunge as can’t have a dish. And I have to say I’ve had no issues and absolutely love it. The price is the price i have everything and happy with what I pay. Finally have sky back

thats pretty cool the remote backlit i always find that annoying at night and i cant find the pause or rewind buttons lol

I was fairly impressed with sky stream despite some frustrating bugs I thought it was a good product, what as made me get rid of it is the amount of ads they recently introduced to on demand sky shows even if you pay a premium you can only fast forward them but all on demand now has up to 4 ad breaks, even now tv don’t do that.

I placed the order late Monday night and the box arrived Tuesday. Great! that blasted paper preventing the batteries making contact is far too weak for a start, it didn't take very much of a gentle pull to break, and it was such a clean break you wouldn't notice. Anyway, got it sorted and followed the on-screen instructions. Bingo. Off we go. Watched a few progs that interested me then went to bed. This afternoon around teatime I turned on the TV and settled down for a good binge. After about a half hour I noticed the sound fading so I went to turn it up. It didn't work. I tried the original TV remote, yep, that was fine. 5 minutes later the sound vanished, then the picture froze and wouldn't do anything. Then it just went back to the home page with its revolving program offers. I tried everything I could find on YouTube/Google and nothing worked.
Strange thing though, although it might be me, you can easily get information on sky glass and sky stream But I'm finding it extremely difficult to find a contact for replacing a duff set up. I do hope it's just a bad remote but unless I find a method of getting a replacement I'll never know.

Great review as always . sky stream is a great OTT (over the top ) device allowing any broadband customer get sky TV. Very slick interface and hope cloud recording is expanded
