I found this video really helpful as I had wondered about how I would use the TV without internet or power. I wouldn't have thought of using the back icon to reach the HDMi tabs, I know that they are down the screen generally. but didn't think that I would be able to access them, even to watch DVDs . Thank you so much.

Interesting to see how good picture looks via a tv aerial that’s reassuring information……although my aerial was struck by lighting 15 years ago and I havent used for years. Glass tv image looks good and I assume thats not ultra hd anything just regular tv. I needed new tv and had an old hd box so making swap to glass tv made financial sense and I was beginning to think my old satellite dish was past its best and probably needed a new lcb (if thats what they called) plus the tiny thing that capped it for me was my old sky hd remote going on blink with buttons that too old to work correctly even when pressed firmly. My son and I worked out last night our old Phillips 42 inch tv was about 19 years old so time for a change. I ordered 55 inch glass tv in racing green with cheapest package to get us started 😊 no doubt we will have a few teething problems but I understand principles involved with an online TV set up and no record/hardrive feature but a more cloud format based set up. Hope I can watch lots of box sets thats my favourite….and Ive never watched Netflix before and missed Bridgerton maybe its still available we will see…..thanks for info 😊

Thanks! The Freeview option has not been mentioned in other, longer Glass reviews I've seen in YT. I'm assuming you have an ariel connected to receive Freeview?
The absence of a proper record function is a deal breaker for me. You "save" progs you want to Favs, but cannot actually save the prog. just a link. So, when you want to play back, the programme might have been deleted from the streaming service. It's a bit like saving a bookmark on a PC. You're saving a link, not the full programme. Cheers.

What happens when you switch off and then on again. Will it go straight to freeview TV or will you have to repeat the process of pressing the back button and then tv input again 🤔🤔
Also, do you get the HD terrestrial channels such as 101, 102 etc? And will this work without a Sky subscription?

Is the sky glass worth it? I read so many reviews saying they wish they stayed with sky q and the the tv picture quality is not as good as a £500 Samsung tv.

He can only watch Freeview, but you can do that anyhow. Xx

You can only use the freeview option if disconnected to net... If you cancel sky and connect to internet to get access to the apps you dont have access to the freeview.. its absolutely stupid
