That lady on top of the house, reaching out to him like a God, is one of the images that always flash in my mind when I think of superheroes in general. Zack Snyder had alot of gorgeous cinematic moments.

This was probably one of my favorite moments from the movie.

0:11 This is such beautiful imagery. The moment when he's walking towards the mother as he carries her daughter to her. And when he sees the mother's tears of relief, he smiles as he walks among the people and kneels down to hand the girl to her mother.

That is Superman. Superman isn't defined by his strength and power alone, but by the hope he inspires in others.

"Maybe he's not some devil or jesus character. Maybe he's just a guy trying to do the right thing" that right there. That line perfectly captures the essence of Superman. Superman isn't a hero because of his powers but because of what he does with those powers. Yet people still criticize Snyder for not "getting" superman.

This scene explain everything in the movie. If superman were real, we would portrayed him as a god or jesus. This alone can change human perception about everything. Religion, universe, god. We would be maniac if superman were real. Some will love him and some will hate him. Snyder really push the idea of superman being realistic to the next level.

2:20 that imagery right there is pure godlike. It’s like an god or angle descending from the heavens to help save lives. Snyder did an amazing job

The woman on top of the rooftop crying, absolutely killed that scene.
Made it 1000% better.
Great job to her

when they all put their hands out to touch superman gave me goosebumps. Snyder's vision for this film and the universe was amazing and perfect. it's a travesty the way he was treated.

In Man of Steel, when Jonathan Kent refused to be rescued by his son, that became one of the most misunderstood moments of the movie. But THIS SCENE perfectly demonstrates what Jonathan wanted to protect Clark from. Even after revealing himself to the world (when the time was right, and not before), saving the world, and protecting human lives, the entire world criticizes his actions, debates his very existence, and generally distrust him. It's like having the weight of the world on his shoulders, and to think this almost happened to him when he was 19? He can barely handle it now! If he had revealed himself prematurely, there's no doubt he would have buckled under that much pressure. This just goes to show that Jonathan was right to want to protect Clark as much as possible. The world wasn't ready, and neither was Clark.

1:38 That! That right there, THAT is what Superman is, he doesn't see himself as God like everyone else sees him, he sees himself as just a guy who goes out of his way to help people, just because it's the right thing.

Zack understands Superman. He’s showing you EXACTLY how the world would react to Superman if he was real. Don’t see how anyone can call this lazy writing in the slightest.

1:48 by FAR the best superman scene, probably ever. Such a powerful scene he really arrived to Earth and made every human question what’s even real. That S on the roof, that woman looking up to the sky with all her hopes and prayers, ir wasn’t God that answered her call, it was Superman.

Superman's kind smile when he returns the child to the parents. Then the slightly freaked out look on his face when he's surrounded by adoring people. Such a pure Superman moment. He's not in it for the glory, only the good.
